INSURANCE & BILLING

At Percy’s Place, we strive to ensure that our patients receive the highest quality care while minimizing any financial burdens.

Welcome to Percy’s Place Residential Hospice.

Our insurance and billing procedures ensure that all necessary care is provided to our patients at no charge. However, there are a few items that may require payment based on individual circumstances.

Transportation to Percy’s Place, including ambulance services or other modes of transport such as MAT bus or taxi, may incur fees. It’s important to note that depending on your insurance plan, these fees may be waived by the government. For example, individuals receiving the GIS (Guaranteed Income Supplement) do not need to pay for ambulance services.

In addition, co-pays for any required medications are the responsibility of the individual. Other than transportation and medication costs, all other aspects of care delivery are covered by Percy’s Place.

We understand the importance of providing comprehensive support to our patients and their families. Our qualified nursing staff comprises of two registered nurses (RNs) and seven licensed practical nurses (LPNs). We also collaborate with Extra Mural Program whenever necessary and work closely with our pharmacy team and dedicated volunteers.
